The weather is cooler, the holiday lights are beginning to twinkle at area stores, and it is time to think about those dreaded words–holiday shopping!  No longer do those have to be words that put fear into the hearts of men (and women).  The 20th Annual Extension Holiday Bazaar, sponsored by the Henry County Homemakers Organization, will help you fill up those stockings with no problem at all.

The event will be held at the Henry County 4H Fairgrounds building on Highway 421 on Saturday, November 10th from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  You will enjoy over 30 booths just brimming with unique and creative gifts that will make you a hit with anyone on your list.  You can shop until you drop and then stop by the Senior Citizens lunch counter sponsored by the Tri-County Community Action Agency.  They will revive your energy with their delicious soups, sandwiches and desserts.  When you realize that you can do your shopping without the madhouse of a mall parking lot, the whopping expense of gas, help support our local economy, encourage our local artists and craftspeople, and find that unique one of a kind gift, it is obvious that it is a win-win situation.  So mark your calendars and plan to attend this community wide event.
